Hi, Iโ€™m Milo

๐Ÿน Meet Milo!

Milo is a charming adult American guinea pig with a heart as big as his personality. His unique brown brindle coat gives him a smooth, endearing look, and although he is blind in one eye, Milo doesn't let that slow him down. He's curious, gentle, and loves to chatter when he hears his favorite humans nearby. Milo is searching for his forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and cared for.

Curious explorer who loves to investigate his surroundings

Communicates with adorable squeaks and purrs

Milo's Special Needs
Milo's partial blindness means he may need a little extra patience when adjusting to new environments. He thrives in a calm, predictable space and would do best with a family who understands his needs and can provide a secure enclosure without hazards.

๐Ÿก Basic Care for Guinea Pigs
Guinea pigs are social, intelligent animals that require daily care and attention. Here are the essentials:

Housing: A spacious cage (minimum 120 x 60 cm) with solid flooring, lined with soft bedding such as paper-based or fleece liners. Avoid wire floors.

Companionship: Guinea pigs are herd animals and do best with a friend. Milo may enjoy the company of another gentle guinea pig, provided introductions are done slowly and safely.

Exercise: Daily floor time in a safe, enclosed area to stretch his legs and explore.

๐Ÿฅ• Diet Essentials
A healthy guinea pig diet is the foundation of their wellbeing:

Hay: Unlimited fresh timothy hay (or other grass hays) for digestion and dental health.

Pellets: A measured portion of guinea pig-specific pellets fortified with Vitamin C.

Fresh Vegetables: Daily servings of leafy greens (like romaine lettuce, coriander, kale in moderation) plus colorful veggies such as capsicum, carrot slices, or cucumber.

Vitamin C: Guinea pigs cannot produce their own Vitamin C, so it must be provided through diet.

Water: Fresh, clean water available at all times in a bottle or heavy dish.

๐Ÿ’• Why Adopt Milo?
Milo is a resilient little soul who will reward his new family with endless love and companionship. His gentle nature and quirky charm make him a wonderful addition to any guinea pig-loving household. With the right care, Milo will thrive and bring joy for years to come.
